Basically i wanted to put on this gig for people who not normally get the exposure they want, who people only hear their music and not get to see a visual aspect of their talent. So why not put something on to showcase what NZ has to offer. I am proud to announce the first of many "Gathering's" with the help of many people who have helped me set this up. Big thanks to all the performers that are willing to take that little time out of their night to give the crowd what they want.... total mic wizardry..FRANTIK

Lomoney (Bio)

From the streets of Manurewa & Otara, South Auckland Home of New Zealand Hip Hop, these unique sounding MCs have been on the grind for quite sometime now. LOMONEY (Vinny Veccetti a.k.a Vetyp, Amathyst, Cashez, & Message).

LOMONEY was formed in 2004 when Vinny discovered the unique tone of Amathyst. The two artists met in the studio of Dawnraid, where they teamed up on the Str8 from the Streets 3 album. With their synchronized thoughts, they had a combination of melodies, rhythms and hard-core lyrics. Prior to these two MCs collaborating, Vinny was a member of a trio (Sinister Syndicate) with two of South Auckland's most underrated MCs, Cashez & Message. Vinny introduced Amathyst to the rest of his crew; they instantly connected forming one of New Zealand's most marketable teams, LOMONEY.

Lady Chorus (Bio)

Sharon Aroha Perham (a.k.a Lady Chorus) Born April 1985
Started playing the Piano at the age of 3. Learning her first song
which her father wrote as a lullaby.
Growing up in the city of Auckland, Music was never far away.
She would perform in Church almost every Sunday.
And by starting so early in her life, it built her confidence when
performing in front of people. Sharon’s style of music is as chilled
out and relaxed as she is. Music to Sharon is a passion,
it gives her meaning in life, a happy place.
She sings everywhere she goes.
Sharon brings to the table some of the best melodies you will ever hear,
and puts her own twist onto any song that she is apart of.

Rokxsta (Bio)

Jay Wairepo (a.k.a Rokxsta ) from the lands of Whangamata in a small town called Paritu but spending his influential time straight from the backyards of Manurewa, South Auckland. ROKXSTA introduces a unique style of sounds created from a passion for hip-hop, rap, blues, reggae and even Rock. With sharp beats easily flowing from this 16 track album (his second already) with words that have true meaning of what is said about growing up in South Auckland and the street struggle, dramas, love, pain and domestics of everyday life.
“Slimmest and the Phattest” was ROKXSTA’s first individual achievement and in doing this he gained a write up in NZ’s Hip Hop Magazine “Back 2 Basics” which received a rating of 3 ½ stars out of 5 from DJ SirVere, which resulted in selling his album in excess of 900 units from clever marketing and without the use of any record company or record deals.
